One of the most interesting games of round 25 was a derby match between two teams from Holland. Thirteenth rankedZZ Leiden won against host Groningen (7-16) 74-65 . American forward Brad Greene (210-1998, college: UC Irvine) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 14 rebounds for the winners and his fellow American import guard Aaron Cook (188-1997, college: Georgia) chipped in 17 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. At the losing side Czech-Canadian center James Karnik (206-1998, college: Boston Coll., agency: Players Group) responded with a double-double by scoring 31 points and 12 rebounds and American point guard Tavian Dunn-Martin (173-1998, college: FGCU) scored 14 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Defending Dutch champion (12-12) moved-up to eleventh place, which they share with Leuven. Groningen lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifteenth position with 16 games lost.
